Personality at work – managing our energy
Monday ,29 June 2020 Johanna Grosgurin , PCC
People do their best work in environments that fit with their personality. The COVID crisis has changed the environment and the way of working for many of us, and we need to adapt. In our new organisation, it is useful to know our areas of comfort and discomfort, and manage our energy accordingly. As coaches, we can help our clients to adapt, by helping them to discover these areas.
This workshop uses the WorkPlace Big Five™ as a basis for assessing personality, and sheds light on the impact of our personality at work, particularly in the current context. Through discussion and examples, we will discover how to manage your energy, when working from home or in the office but differently, and how to support your clients in this changing environment.
At the workshop, you will:
- Be introduced to the Big Five model of personality, the most validated and recognized personality profile.
- Learn about the impact of our personality at work - what brings us energy and what drains it.
- Discover development/compensation strategies that fit with your personality and your working environment
- Explore the implications of personality for coaching in the current context
ICF Core Competencies
- Creating Awareness
- Powerful Questioning
- Designing Actions
