The workshop will allow coaches to experience the most advanced form of constellations-work: Systemic Structural Constellations (SySt). SySt have been developed by Matthias Varga von Kibéd, a professor of logics and philosophy of language, and his wife Insa Sparrer, a therapist. Both are, upon others, formed by Virginia Satir (family reconstruction and sculptures) and Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg (solution focus approach).
Like all constellation-approaches SySt works with the human ability of so called “representative perception” which can be experience as soon as somebody becomes a representative in a constellation. What you see and experience in SySt is the externalization of an inner picture of the client and it’s structure; structure means in this context the relations of the relevant elements. By changing or processing the structure in the externalized picture into a solution-structure or picture the changing happens simultaneously in the client’s inner picture or structure - as long as the client is connected with the externalized picture and identifies it as his own. This effect can be used for a huge range of concerns and goals of clients. Since this method is probably one of the most powerful instruments for change it is appropriate to use it with care.
The beauty of Systemic Structural Constellation is to help clients not only imagine but also physically experience their desired state (desired future). So the chance to continue their life immediately according to this state or solution is higher. Therefore after a SySt the client is usually given only one observation task: Observe what is different and how you act differently.
Through an introduction to this method and a demonstration you will experience how Systemic Structural Constellations work and what the effects are - and together you will find what of it and how this can be applied to your own work
