The ICF Credentialing Program wants to ensure high standards and ethical practice within the coaching profession and to promote qualified and experienced professional coaches. Thus, the core of the program is a minimum number of logged coaching hours and coach-specific training, including references from colleagues and clients and, in certain cases, mentor coaching sessions.

The ICF credential is awarded to professional coaches who can demonstrate that they meet or exceed these minimum standards. 

Individual and program applications are accepted throughout the year.  Check the ICF Global website for further details.

  • Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Application and Requirements
    60 hours of Coach Specific Training and 100 hours of Client Coaching Experience
  • Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Application and Requirements
    125 hours of Coach Specific Training and 750 hours of Client Coaching Experience
  • Master Certified Coach (MCC) Application and Requirements
    200 hours of Coach Specific Training and 2,500 hours of Client Coaching Experience
