Welcome to the ICF Guidelines for Ethical Conduct
The ICF is the leader in developing a definition and philosophy of coaching, as well as, establishing a set of ethical standards that ICF members pledge to uphold. In this section, you will find all the ICF Code of Ethics, as well as, information about our policy prohibiting Unsolicited Commercial Communications ("UCC" - also known as "spam"), and our Ethical Conduct Review process for those who have ethical complaints against an ICF member or credentialed coach. We invite both coaches and the public to become familiar with these materials and the high standards of ICF member professional coaches:
