Why become a member of ICF Switzerland?

Membership for ICF Switzerland is CHF 150 per year from 2009. To be a member of ICF Switzerland you must first be a member of ICF Global with a valid ICF Global membership number (see below).

ICF Switzerland is a separate legal entity aligned to the principles and standards of the ICF.

In addition to the benefits of being an ICF international member (see questions below) being a member of ICF Switzerland brings additional benefits such as:

• Being part of a Swiss registered association dedicated to the development of the coaching profession in Switzerland
• Networking with leaders in the Swiss coaching community – both for learning and business development: the expertise of each coach becomes the resource of all coaches
• Benefiting from press relations work which is positioning ICF Switzerland as a leader of the coaching profession in Switzerland
• Participating on committees looking at issues such as:     (a) coaching compared with other practices (training, consulting, therapy) (b) credentialing of coaches and coach training schools    (c) relations with government and other professional bodies

• Being profiled in the Swiss Coaches Directory

What is the investment to be a member of ICF Switzerland?

To be a member of ICF Switzerland you must first be a member of ICF Global with a valid ICF Global membership number.

Starting 1 January 2009 membership for ICF Switzerland is CHF 150 per year which includes voting rights for ICF Switzerland Board Member election and posting of your personal Coach Profile on our website.

 

How do I join ICF Switzerland?

Please download our registration form, complete manually and mail in to us.  You can also ask your ICF Chapter Leader for a copy of the email registration form.

 

What are the benefits of being a member of ICF International?

Benefits of being a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) include:

• Alignment with the ICF’s standards of professional ethics 
• Discounted prices for annual international conferences, currently taking place in Europe, North America and Australia.  Typical savings for ICF members is Euro 80-100 saving per conference.
• Attendance at ICF chapter meetings at reduced prices (check each chapter event for details)

Do I need to be a full-time coach to be a member of ICF or ICF Switzerland?

No – anyone with a commitment to developing themselves as a coach, or to the profession of coaching is welcome as a member of ICF Global and ICF Switzerland.  See specific levels of membership here.

Do I need to be an ICF member to be on the Swiss Coaches mailing list?

No, this is a free service which any Swiss or France voisine coach can join.  Send an email to info@coachfederation.ch with a brief introduction of yourself and request to join the mailing list.
